Planning and Design
KenCairn Landscape Architecture takes pride in offering a full range of graphic and written planning and landscape architecture services, from residential master plans to full-scale urban plaza construction documents, specifications, environmental assessments, and restoration plans.

KenCairn Landscape Architecture's skills include the technical aspects of landscape architecture: grading and drainage, challenging site design, and innovative storm water design. Knowledge of local codes and regulations, climate, and site-specific details gives us the ability to design uniquely beautiful and practical landscapes for a wide range of situations. Besides master planning, planting, and detailed site design, Kerry has the ability to provide leadership and organization to projects large and small.

Experience
KenCairn Landscape Architecture (KLA) has extensive design and planning experience, working closely with all clients: homeowners, local and state agencies, city officials, active community members, and other important project stakeholders. Our varied range of public, commercial and private landscape projects qualifies KLA to provide a broad spectrum of work for diverse clients.

KLA offers a wide range of experience working with local agencies and governments including facilitation of public meetings and communication between various client groups.

Staff
Employees Bonnie Bayard and Heather Armstrong provide highly-qualified support to the firm and contribute valuable strengths to the design team. Bonnie has been practicing landscape architecture in our region since 1982 and is a licensed Landscape Architect in both California and Oregon; Heather has been a practicing landscape architect in Colorado since 1998 and has been licensed in Oregon since 2008.

Biography
Kerry KenCairn has been living and working in Southern Oregon since 1977. Employing a strong career background and education in environmental planning, geography, and fine arts, she gained her Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon in 1995. That same year, she opened KenCairn Environmental Design which transitioned into KenCairn-Sager Landscape Architects from 2003 until 2007. The company further evolved into KenCairn Landscape Architecture in September of 2007.

Kerry KenCairn has served on the City of Ashland Tree Commission (two years) the Planning Commission (7 years) and currently serves on the boards of the Schneider Museum of Art, The Rogue Gallery Community Arts Center, Ashland Community Land Trust, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Ashland. She is a member of both the Ashland and the Medford Chamber of Commerce. This experience and the resultant collaborations have led to the design and installation of many successful places to live, work, and play within our community.
