The design of the grounds at Temple Emek Shalom was based on a brief, casual teaching by Rabbi Mark Sarinsky. He talked of layers, of seeds, skins and life. Rabbi Mark mentioned the relationship of the planets and stars. The intention was to weave the world into the site, to mirror back and inspire nature.
