A native of the Rogue Valley, James has 21 years of experience in landscape architecture and site planning throughout the Pacific Northwest, Desert Southwest, and California.

James obtained a Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Oregon in 1993 and relocated to Phoenix, Arizona upon graduation. Following five years of working in the southwest, James spent the next four years in Portland, Oregon before relocating back to the Rogue Valley.

The broad range of work that James has been involved with includes commercial, education, healthcare, residential, and civic landscape architecture along with site planning for residential communities.

An active member of the Grants Pass Urban Tree Advisory Committee since 2003 and the Greater Grants Pass Rotary club, James has also been involved in local Habitat for Humanity projects as well as various faith based volunteering.
